Michael Crozier has been a journalist for more than 40 years. He began as a reporter on a local paper in West London before moving to Fleet Street. He worked on The Daily Telegraph, the Evening News and The Times where he was Editor, Saturday and Editor, Special Projects before joining The Independent in 1986 as Executive Editor, Design and Pictures. Since leaving the paper in 1994 he has run Crozier Associates Ltd, a newspaper and magazine consultancy. He has launched or re-launched some 55 newspapers and magazines in 16 countries. Last year he was awarded a Doctorate in Journalism (DJourn) from City University, London.
